Hi, I'm Berna. (In English, my name is pronounced as "Bair-nah.") I'm the founder of Berdem Pasta.
I studied landscape architecture at university and began practicing my profession in Turkey after graduating. However, I later went to the United States and worked in the fields of landscape architecture, tourism, and hospitality for six years. During this time, I became interested in pastry-making as a hobby, and my passion for this industry grew stronger every day.
Upon my return, I realized that my true calling was to make pastries and cookies, adding flavor to people's tongues and smiles to their faces. Thus, my pastry-making experience that began in the early 2000s turned into a business with the opening of my cake shop in 2014.
Since then, at Berdem Pasta, we have been offering carefully prepared cakes and cookies made with only the highest quality ingredients to our valued customers. Every flavor we create is designed to enhance your happiness, leaving an unforgettable taste in your mouth with our creative touches.

During a long-term business visit to Ankara, I coincidentally found Ms. Berna while I was searching for a dessert that I wanted to be light and tasty. I ordered cheesecake for the next day, as she prepares everything fresh to order. She delivered it to the office on time. Everyone in the office who ate the cake loved it, and so did I. 🙂 A pleasant encounter turned into a reliable collaboration.

What do people expect from a cake? It should look good and give you a you a nice taste that you'll remember. Here you can find more of them. First of all, you can be sure that you will get a cake which is same as you imagined. Regarding to taste I can say that you'll taste a wonderful cake, not a classic sponge cake. In addition, you will be in touch with very sweet people. So in conclusion, you will have a cake that will leave a mark on your mind in terms of both taste and shape, and maybe you will look for an excuse to order a cake again.
